Sunday Night Football got off to an interesting start, with Russell Wilson throwing a rare pick-six on the opening possession of the game. Wilson's pass went right through the hands of Greg Olsen and fell into the waiting arms of Devin McCourty, who took it back for an easy score.
From there, Wilson went to work. He completed 13 of 16 throws overall, for 152 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to that pick. The first of his scores came on a scramble drill, where he found Tyler Lockett in the back of the end zone. The second was a beautiful toss down the field to DK Metcalf, with defenders in his face and Stephon Gilmore in coverage. It didn't matter.
In between the Seahawks' touchdowns, Cam Newton found his way into the end zone for the Pats. New England's offense didn't get many opportunities before the break due to the pick-six and another possession beginning with only 20 seconds left, but Cam went 7 of 11 for 85 yards and the rushing score. At the half, the game is tied at 14-14.
