The Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) and Miami Dolphins (0-2) are battling it out in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season on Thursday Night Football.
Before the game begins, we wanted to ask the Big Cat Country team (and you!) a simple question... and we’re going to have John Shipley of Sports Illustrated join us this season too!

Blowout city.

Both of these teams are mirror images of one another — offenses who are good enough to win games held down by defenses that are underperforming at the moment. The only difference is Jacksonville has the better roster overall. It’s gonna be a fun one tonight, folks.
Jaguars win 31-24
Record: 1-1

I think the Miami Dolphins are one of the few teams in the NFL that the Jacksonville Jaguars actually have a clear-cut better roster than from top-to-bottom. The Jaguars are also playing inspired and confident, while Miami has dropped to 0-2. I expect a fairly competitive game, but with the Jaguars taking over in the fourth quarter to seal the deal. I don’t have a lot of confidence in Jacksonville’s defense to limit Miami all game long, but I think the unit steps up in crunch time. Gardner Minshew and company should move the ball at will against a Miami team giving up 26 points per game thus far.
Jaguars win 30-21
Record: 1-1

I have a gut feeling this is going to be an offensive explosion for both teams. Despite their record, Miami has some talent on offense, and Fitzmagic can happen at any time. But, I think their offensive line gives up too much pressure, and the Jaguars offense soars to victory.
Jaguars win 31-28
Record: 0-2

One of these days I’ll be right in my prediction, but the Jaguars take advantage of a very shaky secondary by the Miami Dolphins in this one. While the defense has played poorly, particularly early, they’ll be locked in and ready to go, giving the offense plenty of opportunities to score.
Jaguars win 27-14
Record: 0-2

Ryan Fitzpatrick will give the Jaguars issues, but the Dolphins secondary is too disastrous to stop Jacksonville’s offense.
Jaguars win 38-23
Record: 1-1
