The Steelers are looking for their first 2-0 start since 2017. Conversely, the Broncos are hoping to avoid an 0-2 start following last Monday's loss to the visiting Titans. Pittsburgh is surely hoping for another big day from Ben Roethlisberger, who threw three touchdown passes in the Steelers' season-opening win over the Giants. Denver's offense, a unit that went just 3 of 9 against the Titans, has their work cut out for them against a Steelers defense that forced two interceptions while holding the Giants to 29 rushing yards.
Injuries may play a big role in Sunday's outcome. Pittsburgh is without starting offensive linemen David DeCastro, Stefen Wisniewski and Zach Banner. The Broncos were banged up at receiver in Week 1 and it showed, and their depth chart at the position continues to deal with injury.
