Weather Alert: The Bermuda Weather Service is closely tracking Hurricane Teddy which is currently 767 nautical miles southwest of the island, moving 11 miles per hour. The closest point of approach to Bermuda within 72 hours (3 days) is forecast to be within 119 nautical miles to the east of the island, at 2 AM Monday, September 21, 2020. However, this system is expected to move closer to Bermuda after this time period and is expected to affect the island as a hurricane early next week.
