The Milwaukee Bucks kept their season alive Sunday after defeating the Miami Heat 118-115 in overtime of Game 4. Still trailing 3-1 in the series, the Bucks will have to stave off elimination once again in Game 5 Tuesday night, and will have to do so without superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is sitting out with a sprained ankle. While the Bucks were able to get off to a hot start without Antetokounmpo in the lineup, the Heat turned things around in a big way in the second quarter to take a comfortable lead into the break.
Miami seeks its first Eastern Conference finals berth since 2014, and history remains on its side as no team in NBA history has overcome a 3-0 deficit. Furthermore, among the 139 previous teams to fall behind 3-0 in a playoff series, only three managed to force a Game 7. With no Giannis to worry about, Miami will turn its focus on slowing down Khris Middleton, who scored a playoff career-high 36 points in Game 4.
