Monday, Sept. 21

Series launches today  Podcast
Listen in as CU Boulder graduate students and staff interview the curators at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History to give listeners a behind-the-scenes view into their exciting careers and journeys. Learn about how scientific research, stewardship of museum collections, academic teaching, and supporting public education and exhibits give them purpose. Discover the twists, turns, and academic adventures that have gotten these passionate professionals to where they are now. 


Tuesday, Sept. 22

Sept. 22  Student Voting Guidelines
Ballots for the Nov. 3 general election will be mailed to Colorado voters beginning Oct. 9. Whether you are voting in Colorado or your home state, act now to ensure you receive a mail ballot.

Are you short on food? Visit the Buff Pantry at no cost to receive food on a weekly basis if needed. Food selection will be based on availability. Learn more and complete the intake form

Join Health Promotion for a workshop on self-care and stress management techniques. You will also receive information on mental health resources for graduate students at CU.


Wednesday, Sept. 23 

5 p.m.  Zoom
Join your fellow Buffs in conversation to share your experiences and learn from each other in a safe space. This week’s event, hosted by the Dennis Small Cultural Center, will cover the topic of voting.

6 p.m.  Zoom
Join the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) for Cactus Crochet night. You can pick up the materials for a craft, then tune in to watch a virtual craft night. Each participant will need to RSVP in advance and coordinate a time to pick up their craft kit from CSI (UMC 330). Limited to the first 15-20 students to register, so register now.


Thursday, Sept. 24

 5 p.m.  Virtual event
Community leaders share strategies and ideas that advance climate action, food security, social justice and sustainability in Boulder and Denver. Students will gain valuable insights into community approaches and leadership, as well knowledge of the basics of sustainability and social justice. Webinar recordings will be published.

 6–6:30 p.m.  Zoom
Join the Sko Together Dinners to meet fellow undergraduate students and create personal connections within the CU community. Plus, the first 15 people to register for each dinner will receive a free $5 gift card just for coming, and all participants will be entered in the door prize raffle. Sign up and learn more.

 6–6:30 p.m.  Virtual Screening
Tune in for a free screening of Boys State (compliments of A24 x CU Boulder), an award-winning documentary that takes a wildly entertaining and revealing look into a week-long annual program in which 1,000 Texas high school seniors gather for an elaborate mock exercise: building their own state government. RSVP today.
