The WCC tournament championship game will feature a pair of familiar foes Tuesday night when the No. 2 Gonzaga Bulldogs square off against the Saint Mary’s Gaels Tuesday night from Las Vegas (6 p.m. PT/ 9 p.m. ET on ESPN).
Gonzaga is back in the tournament finale after holding off San Francisco Monday night, 81-77. Saint Mary’s makes its return to the championship game following a 51-50 upset of No. 14 BYU on Monday.
This marks the ninth meeting between the Gaels and Bulldogs in the WCC title game since 2009, with Gonzaga 6-3 in those meetings. Saint Mary’s knocked off top-seeded Gonzaga a year ago to win the conference tournament and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
