The Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers are continuing the National League Championship Series with Game 3 on Tuesday afternoon. The Braves enter with a 2-0 advantage in the best-of-seven series, meaning the Dodgers are in danger of falling short of reaching a fourth World Series in five years. Here's how you can watch.
The Braves sent veteran right-hander Charlie Morton to the mound in Game 3. In two starts during the NLDS against the Brewers, he accumulated a 3.86 ERA in nine innings. That includes Morton's Game 4 start on short rest that saw the Braves end the series. It should be noted that this would be the third World Series appearance of Morton's career if the Braves are indeed able to take the pennant.
The Dodgers counter with Walker Buehler. Despite just turning 27 years old, Buehler is a grizzled young veteran in postseason terms. Tuesday's start is his 14th career playoff appearance. He has a 2.50 career ERA in those contests. During the divisional round, he started twice and held the Giants to four runs in 10 innings. The Dodgers, like they did in Game 2, jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning thanks to a two-run homer by Corey Seager. The Braves, like they have in every other game this series, punched back. Atlanta scored four runs in the fourth inning to chase Buehler after 3 2/3 innings. Gavin Lux misplayed a fly ball in center field to spark the rally.
