The offensive outburst in the third quarter complemented a defensive assault from the Crimson Tide, who have successfully stunted the Bulldogs' air-raid attack by limiting Mississippi State to three field goals.
Young's first score of the half came on Alabama's first play from scrimmage in the third quarter as Jameson Williams took an intermediate route 75 yards to make it 28-9. Then, later in the quarter, running back Brian Robinson Jr. took a Young toss 51 yards to the house to give the Crimson Tide a huge lead. Defensively, Alabama has been led by star linebacker Will Anderson, who has four sacks. As a whole, Alabama has sacked Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers seven times.
