If you've been meaning to check out all the changes and newcomers to the Haddonfield dining scene, this is a great time to venture out to the historic borough.
Haddonfield Restaurant Week kicks off today and will run through Sunday.
Twenty-four participating restaurants and other businesses will feature specials including two items for $20 and/or three items for $35; artisan food purveyors and Kings Road Brewing Company will offer specials, as well.
The promotion was organized by the newly formed Haddonfield Food & Beverage Collective, in cooperation with local businesses and the borough. It is meant as a celebration of all of the food and drinks in town, not just sit-down restaurants, members say.

The promotion will differentiate itself from the larger SJ Hot Chefs Restaurant Weeks by widening the scope to include other businesses, and by offering two price levels — $20 and $35 – and will incorporate not just eateries on Kings Highway, but also Haddon Avenue, King's Court, Ellis, Mechanic and Tanner streets.
Some will offer two dishes for $20 or three for $35. Others will get mix it up a little. For instance, Nicky B’s Pizza will offer two large cheese pizzas for $20 or, for $35 a large pizza with one traditional topping, 10 wings, choice of salad and a 2-liter soda.
Kings Road is offering two for $20 or four for $35 crowlers, while TAL32 Bespoke Bakery is offering a dozen mini cupcakes for $20, or six cupcakes for $35.
The Haddonfield Inn is offering a discount to visitors coming from out of town. Reserve two nights at Haddonfield Inn, get $25 off each night. Guests will also get a complimentary glass of wine (red or white) and a Charcuterie Board Reception for guests arriving between 3 and 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Visitors to town will also get rewards when they dine during Restaurant Week by bringing their original dated receipts from a participating restaurant either in person or by mail to: Haddonfield Information Center, 2 Kings Court, Haddonfield, New Jersey 08033 by March 11. They would get 10 percent back (up to $25) in the form of a Haddonfield gift card. (One deal per customer; some restrictions apply).
