No. 11 Florida leads Tennessee 31-14 after three quarters of play of Saturday night's showdown in The Swamp in Gainesville. Trent Whittemore took a backwards pass from quarterback Emory Jones and hit Kemore Gamble for a 13-yard touchdown pass midway through the quarter to give Florida a 10-point lead. Following a fourth-down stop by the Gators defense at its own 30-yard line, Jones then led the Gators straight down the field and hit Rick Wells for a nine-yard touchdown to push the lead to 31-14.
Jones is 18-for-21 for 182 yards and two touchdown passes, while adding a team-high 89 yards on the ground as we head into the fourth quarter.
