No. 1 Alabama leads No. 11 Florida 21-3 after one quarter in The Swamp. Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young has opened the game 12 of 16 for 138 yards and three touchdowns -- one each to Jase McClellan, Jahleel Billingsley and Brian Robinson Jr. -- to make this look like a blowout early on. Alabama's first two drives covered 75 yards, while its third touchdown covered 38 yards on six plays after Jayln Armour-Davis picked off Gators QB Emory Jones on a wildly overthrown pass.
Speaking of Jones, he has been inconsistent through the air. He's 3 of 6 for 31 yards and hasn't been able to find ways to take the top off the defense. Florida coach Dan Mullen said sensational backup Anthony Richardson is medically cleared from his hamstring injury, but he won't play unless there's an emergency or injury to Jones. So far, we haven't seen the electric dual-threat quarterback except for our CBS camera that caught him doing backflips in warmups.
