Since former President Donald Trump’s first wife Ivana was buried in a plot at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster last month, questions have come up about whether the golf course property will benefit from the tax exempt status given to cemeteries.
The questions spread on social media, partially spurred by a Dartmouth professor who called the cemetery “a trifecta of tax avoidance” in a Tweet.
