One man was arrested by the Bermuda Police Service (BPS) last evening after they discovered marijuana at his home.
BPS reported that cops entered the house, which is located in Hamilton Parish, to execute a search warrant under the Dogs Act, 2008. While searching the house, cops discovered a substantial amount of cannabis plants—some of which measured as tall as five feet, seven inches in height.
Cops also seized seven dogs.
In an unrelated matter, BPS reported that it seized a large quantity of cannabis plants in the yard of a Devonshire residence on August 21.
Cops said the plants measured at heights of up to five feet, nine inches tall.
The plants were seized under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
