Lionel Messi and Barcelona looked sharp in their La Liga return on Saturday with a convincing 4-0 win at Mallorca to move five points clear atop the table. Barca got off to a fast start and actually grabbed the winning goal just two minutes in when Jordi Alba found the head of Arturo Vidal in the box.
Barca led 2-0 at the break after Messi set up Martin Braithwaite for his first goal for the club, and Messi set up Alba for his goal in the 79th minute. With Barca headed towards the three-goal win, Messi got this goal in the 93rd minute to complete the crushing scoreline, and it came off his right foot:
