The Riverside County Sheriff's Department detained suspects found with a vehicle reported stolen at the Bermuda Dunes Country Club Tuesday night.
According to the Sheriff's Department, deputies were originally dispatched to respond to a "disturb the peace call" on the 79000 block of 4 Paths Lane in Bermuda Dunes.
Deputies arrived and located the suspects. The suspect then ran from a vehicle that was reported stolen.
A search ensued, with a helicopter called in to assist. Various residents around the area, even as far away as La Quinta, reported seeing the helicopter.
Eventually, deputies were able to detain the suspects.
