The Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS] is getting set to host “Bermuda Sharks, What’s The Deal?” on Thursday, October 4th at 7.00pm at Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo BZS Classrooms.
The event poster says, “Choy Aming is doing a lecture on Bermuda sharks. For the past 12 years Choy has been studying Bermuda sharks any chance he gets.
“He co-founded the Bermuda Shark Project which is the largest tiger shark tagging program in the world. He has tagged 50 sharks locally and the data has revealed some amazing insights to their movement. He also has had some amazing experiences locally which he will share including finding a dozen sharks feeding on a sperm whale. His latest focus has been tagging juvenile sharks and last year’s tags have produced some exciting new data.
“Entry to the lecture is free. A donation of $10 is gratefully accepted. Proceeds from this lecture will support the Junior Volunteer Galapagos Expedition.”
