Bermuda sees influx of reinsurance, insurance capital - Business Insurance

Analysts at ratings agency A.M. Best Co. Inc. said that Bermuda attracted billions of dollars in reinsurance and insurance capital in 2020 due to the hardening market, The Royal Gazette reported. Greater inflow of capital and entry of start-ups could dampen reinsurance price hikes, which could be counterbalanced by growing demand for reinsurance amid COVID-19 driven volatility.
