Teyah Lindo struck her second successive brace to inspire the Bermuda women’s team to a 3-2 win over Barbados in their Concacaf Women’s Championship qualifiers last night.

Bermuda remain undefeated, having drawn 2-2 with host nation Guyana in their opening group E match on Wednesday, and face Surinam in their third and final game tomorrow.

Lindo, who accounted for both of Bermuda’s goals against Guyana, handed her side the lead in the seventeenth minute but the Bajans fought back to level before half-time.

The midfielder added her second after the interval before forward Deshae Darrell gave Bermuda a two-goal cushion.

Barbados pulled a goal back late on.

Guyana were scheduled to play Surinam in last night’s second encounter. The group winner will advance to the final round of the Caribbean region.
