Martha Stewart is bringing her business savvy to MasterClass.
The iconic businesswoman and television personality, behind dozens of ultra-successful and long-running eponymous brands, will launch a course on the e-learning platform on Dec. 8.
“To be an entrepreneur means you have an idea that is viable and the passion to make that idea come to fruition,” Stewart said in a statement. “I started my company when I was 50 years old, and now, I have not only started a company, but I’ve gone public, I’ve sold the company twice, I am writing my 100th book and I’m posing for Sports Illustrated Magazine – who would have guessed.”
Throughout the course, members will follow along with Stewart as she runs her sprawling, 156-acre farm in Bedford, New York, and as she manages her business in New York City. They’ll join Stewart as she attends meetings for her upcoming product lines and learn the importance of finding the right team, how to give constructive feedback and the benefit of taking chances.
Members will also get a peek into the boss’s jam-packed daily schedule, which begins at 5:00 a.m. on the dot, pilates and then her signature green juice recipe before starting with her first meeting of the day on the farm at 8:30 a.m.
Stewart joins a rapidly growing list of bold-faced names to join the e-learning platform this past year including Kris Jenner, Chris Rock and Amy Poehler.
