NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Chicago Bears will wrap up the 2021 NFL preseason this evening in Nashville, as they are slated to take on the Tennessee Titans. There will be no Andy Dalton in this matchup, as Matt Nagy's starter will turn his focus to the regular season while first-round pick Justin Fields gets the start. According to Nagy, Fields is expected to play "probably two quarters."
As for the Titans, it's been a tough week. Several players were placed on the Reserve/COVID list, including starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Mike Vrabel also will not be coaching tonight due to COVID-19, and special teams coach Craig Aukerman will be handling team communication while John Streicher, coordinator of football development, will handle what the team calls "game decisions" and playtime management.
