Africa-focused reinsurer Africa Specialty Risks Group plans to launch a licensed and rated reinsurance company in Bermuda to increase its capacity base and leverage Bermuda’s favorable regulatory and tax environment, Artemis reported. The new reinsurance firm will provide coverage for business lines, including parametric, property, energy, political risk and trade credit, and construction among others.
