It's rare that a tournament three weeks before the Masters includes as many top players as the 2020 Zozo Championship does, but everybody is working on something leading into the last major championship of the year. Through 18 holes at Sherwood Country Club, Sebastian Munoz leads entering Friday at 8 under, and he's been playing some terrific golf over the last two months. It will be interesting to see if he can lock down another win just ahead of his debut at Augusta National.
If Munoz cannot, he has some big names just behind him ready to clean up a mess. Scores can change quickly here, and Justin Thomas (entering T2) showed that late Thursday. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have likely turned most of their attention to Augusta and what needs to get better for that tournament. For Tiger, it's pretty much everything after an opening 76. For Rory, it's an iron game that has been below where expects it to be. Both will play out the string at the Zozo Championship, but respectively 12 back and 9 back, they're likely out of the hunt barring special second rounds that get them back in the mix.
