LSU and Auburn are meeting as unranked teams for the first time since 1999. It's safe to say that, due to the slow start each team's had to start the 2020 season, a win Saturday in the SEC on CBS Game of the Week would go a long way toward calming a swell of frustration that has been building.
The Bayou Bengals are without quarterback Myles Brennan for the second straight week as he nurses an upper-body injury. Freshman T.J. Finley, who's more of a dual threat than Brennan, is back starting under center. Auburn escaped Ole Miss last week and will hope to build off of its late game success. Coach Gus Malzahn has found a gem at running back in true freshman Tank Bigsby, who has topped the 100-yard mark on the ground for three straight games. If there's a concern for the orange-and-blue Tigers, it's the offensive line. That line is squaring off against an LSU defensive front that had five sacks last week vs. South Carolina.
