NOTES: An alternate-field event in its debut on the PGA Tour last season, this year's Bermuda Championship is a standalone event due to the cancellation of the WGC-HSBC Champions and will award 500 FedExCup points to the winner. ... This is the eighth of 12 events on the "fall swing" and will be the first to allow fans since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. A max of 500 fans will be allowed daily. ... Todd seeks to become the first player to successfully defend a title on the PGA Tour since Brooks Koepka at the 2019 PGA Championship. He followed it up with a win at the Mayakoba Golf Classic the following week. ... Will Zalatoris and Justin Suh received sponsors exemptions. Zalatoris needs three FedExCup points to earn special temporary Tour status for the rest of the season, while Suh has consecutive top-15 finishes. ... The field includes three players in the top 10 of the FedExCup standings: Stewart Cink (No. 5), Hudson Swafford (No. 8), and Peter Malnati (No. 10). It also includes three Bermuda natives: Anthony Phipps, Michael Sims and Camiko Smith. ... Fred Funk and son Taylor Funk are in the field. Funk is playing on a sponsors exemption.
BEST BETS: Will Zalatoris (1150 at DraftKings) has three top-10s in his past four Tour events, including at the U.S. Open. He also has a win and 10 top-10 finishes in 15 starts on the Korn Ferry Tour. ... Todd (1400) shot a 29 on the front nine on Sunday in winning by four shots last year, going on to finish 20th in the FedExCup standings. ... Harold Varner III (2000) has yet to win in 139 career Tour starts, but does have 12 top-10s. ... Emiliano Grillo (2500) has not won since 2015, but has made eight consecutive cuts. He has lurked around the leaderboard several times but needs to put together four solid rounds. ... Doc Redman (2800) is a streaky player with a pair of T3s and a pair of MCs in his past five starts. ... Peter Malnati (4000) finished second at the Sanderson Farms Championship and posted rounds of 63 and 62 in finishing T5 the next week at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. ... Danny Willett (5500) offers long odds for a former major champion. Granted, his recent T32 at the BMW Championship came after five consecutive MCs.

Langer won at 19 under in 2019, continuing the trend of low scores for champions (Mark Calcavecchia, 16 under in 2018; Scott McCarron, 17 under in 2017).
