Trevor Darks, 62, was found in a grassy area near a parking lot on Saturday morning.
He was later pronounced dead by an on-call doctor.
According to local media reports, he was visiting the British-island terrority in the north Atlantic.
Police said that foul play is not suspected but an autopsy is due to take place.
A family liason officer has been assigned to Mr Dark's family.
