Multiple media outlets have highlighted Bermuda as a destination as the traditional tourist season begins to ramp up.

A recent article published by Esquire branded Bermuda as the “ultimate vacation” which “seamlessly combines the highs and welcome lows you seek from a tropical getaway”.

The article spotlights Tom Moore’s Jungle, Blue Hole Park and Crystal Caves as destinations, along with Trunk Island in Harrington Sound.

“Bermuda packs a big punch within its small space,” the article adds. “Take a beat, check out the video above, and start planning your exhilarating tour of the island.”

British Airways also highlighted Bermuda this month as a destination in its latest High Life Magazine, which also promotes the return of the airline’s daily service to Bermuda.

Along with Bermuda’s turquoise blue waters and pink sand, the article notes the island’s various shipwrecks, rich history and the “feud” over where to get the best fish sandwich.

“The fried fish sandwich is indisputably a Bermudian staple, but there’s much debate about where to get the best one,” the magazine said.

“Café Olé near the Crystal Caves, Seaside Grill in Devonshire and Woody’s in Sandys Parish are considered among the top three — but even that depends on who you ask.”

Meanwhile, Lonely Planet recently published its eight best places to visit on the island — a list that included Cooper’s Island, the Town of St George, Tucker’s Town and Gibbs Hill Lighthouse — along with a list of the 14 best beaches of Bermuda.
