Media personality and businesswoman Kim Kardashian will teach an 11-week Bar exam prep course beginning Monday, May 1, at Penn State Law. The course will help participants prepare for the next session of the Pennsylvania Bar exam, which will be administered on Tuesday, July 25, and Wednesday, July 26.
The prep course will feature in-person study sessions, essay reviews, and practice exams. Kardashian will review a wide array of topics covered on the exam, including contracts and sales, constitutional law, criminal law and procedure, evidence, real property, torts, trusts and estates, family law, and more.
The course is open to all Pennsylvania residents, however, will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis due to limited seats. Current Penn State Law or recent alumni will receive priority. Additionally, Penn State Law students and alumni will receive a discounted course rate of $1,999, as opposed to the full price of $2,799.
Kardashian, who rose to fame after working as socialite Paris Hilton’s stylist and starring in the hit reality TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” is the daughter of late attorney Robert Kardashian. Kardashian’s father famously served as O.J. Simpson’s defense attorney during the 1995 murder trial of Nicole Brown.
The legal apple did not fall far from the tree, as Kardashian has recently been known to advocate for prison reform and has been open about undergoing a four-year law apprenticeship.
In addition to inspiring the next generation of attorneys, Kardashian has also taken to instilling her wisdom in the next generation of entrepreneurs. In January, Kardashian delivered a lecture at the Harvard Business School, where she spoke about her clothing brand, SKIMS.
Kardashian’s prep course at Penn State comes after her recent praise via Twitter of Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s calls to end capital punishment in February.
