The Learning and Innovative Technologies team is excited to inform you about the 2023 Canvas Course Tours, designed to highlight our faculty's outstanding teaching practices and techniques using Canvas LMS. These tours have been created to support the teaching and learning experience and are an excellent resource for new and experienced instructors. Faculty members have created video walkthroughs that provide a detailed look at how the they use Canvas to enhance their courses and engage their students. The instructors featured in these tours were nominated by students, speaking to the quality of their teaching in Canvas. Throughout Spring 2023, we will be adding these course tours to the Canvas Resources @ IC Course on a rolling basis.
Included in the tours are:
- Video walkthroughs in which the faculty member discusses how they use Canvas to support teaching
- Written highlights of each course with Pro Tips on implementation
- Links to demonstration versions of the courses so you can explore yourself and see the techniques in action
Whether you are brand new to teaching using Canvas or consider yourself an experienced user, these course tours are a valuable resource to guide you in reflecting on your teaching and provide ideas on how the tools in Canvas can support your teaching goals and objectives.
