Live Updates

Fourth Quarter

Vikings 34, Lions 13

10:42: Dalvin Cook just iced the game with a 70-yard touchdown run, his longest of the season. 236 yards from scrimmage for Cook after having 226 last week.

Vikings 27, Lions 13

11:07: The Lions move the ball a bit but have to settle for a field goal. Chase Daniel came in for an injured Stafford at QB at the end of that drive. Vikings can put this game away with some points on this upcoming possession.

Third Quarter

0:54: And another one! The Lions get the ball back with a blocked punt, but Stafford throws another interception to a Vikings linebacker, this time Eric Kendricks in the end zone.

4:52: A turnover! Stafford throws it straight into the hands of Eric Wilson in the red zone. That's Wilson's third interception of the season. The Vikings only have four as a team.

Vikings 27, Lions 10

7:50: There's the second touchdown of the game for Irv Smith. The Vikings drove downfield behind Dalvin Cook and a big gain to Justin Jefferson, and Smith caps it off with his second TD catch of the day.

Second Quarter

Vikings 20, Lions 10

0:22: Another incredibly easy touchdown drive for the Vikings offense. Dalvin Cook got it started, and Ameer Abdullah finished it off with a touchdown catch on a screen pass against his old team.

Vikings 13, Lions 10

1:19: The Lions aren't going down without a fight. Their second straight impressive drive results in a touchdown pass from Stafford to Marvin Jones, who broke a tackle attempt by Kris Boyd.

Vikings 13, Lions 3

8:24: The Vikings get a goal-line stop after a lengthy Lions drive. Jaleel Johnson stuffs Adrian Peterson on third and goal from the 1, and Detroit has to settle for a field goal.

First Quarter

Vikings 13, Lions 0

1:26: Touchdown, Irv Smith Jr. The Vikings once again marched down the field on just five plays and punched it in. They already have three pass plays of 20-plus yards and Dalvin Cook is averaging eight yards per carry. Zero resistance from the Lions' defense. Dan Bailey missed the PAT, though.

4:11: No good! Matt Prater's 46-yard field goal misses wide left. It seems like kickers never miss against the Vikings, so that felt weird. Vikings take over with decent field position.

Vikings 7, Lions 0

10:39: What a start for the Vikings. They force a three-and-out on defense and then march down the field on five plays for a touchdown. Dalvin Cook punched it in for his 12th score of the season.
