No. 5 Ohio State is two-for-two on scoring touchdowns so far but holds a 14-7 lead against Nebraska at the end of the first quarter thanks to an explosive opening drive from the Cornhuskers. Quarterbacks Adrian Martinez and Luke McCaffrey have combined for 90 yards on five rushing attempts, including a 47-yard run by McCaffrey and a 10-yard touchdown by Martinez in the first two minutes of the game.
Nebraska received the ball first and made its statement, showing it not only plans to run the ball against Ohio State but believes it can have some success with both quarterbacks leading the offense. The Buckeyes did force punts on Nebraska's next two possessions, but tightening up against the two-quarterback attack will be a key for the rest of the first half.
