The Los Angeles Dodgers will try to even their best-of-seven National League Championship Series matchup with the Atlanta Braves at two games apiece on Thursday night at Globe Life Field. The Dodgers blew the Braves out in Game 3 after being shut down in Game 1 and having a late rally fall short in Game 2. Here's how you can watch Game 4.
The big story of Game 4: Clayton Kershaw (6-2, 2.16 ERA). The lefty was scratched from Game 2 with back spasms, but has felt good throwing the last two days, and will get the ball in Game 4. Kershaw's battled on and off back issues for a few years now, and while he says he feels good, it remains to be seen how he'll fare on the mound. Will the back compromise his effectiveness at all?
The Braves are sending righty Bryse Wilson (1-0, 4.02 ERA) to the mound one day after their bullpen soaked up 8 1/3 innings in the 12-run loss. Long man Huascar Ynoa threw 92 pitches in four innings. Atlanta used three other relievers as well. The bullpen isn't totally shot -- the team is carrying 11 relievers on the NLCS roster -- but they do need Wilson to eat some innings in Game 4.
