Premier David Burt welcomed Malcolm Weed and Yum Kasukawa of digital asset company Bittreo to the Cabinet Office to “hear their plans to move their operations to Bermuda.”
Premier Burt tweeted the photos below, saying: “Yesterday I welcomed Malcolm Weed and Yum Kasukawa, co-founders of Bittreo to the Cabinet Office to hear their plans to move their operations to Bermuda.”
Malcolm Weed of Bittreo then tweeted, “Thank you to Bermuda and to Premier David Burt for being great hosts. We had a great meeting around the current Fintech legislation on the island and how Bittreo’s roadmap can fit into it as 2019 unfolds. We look forward to a close working relationship.”
