TV technology outfit Mirada has been chosen by Bermuda telecom operator One Communications to provide its Iris multiscreen TV technology.
The commercial deployment of Iris in Bermuda will give One Communications’ FibreWire TV subscribers access to live and Cloud DVR content across hybrid set-top boxes, smartphones, tablets and laptops, along with Mirada’s Inspire user interface.
Other services enabled by Mirada include start-over, session transfer between set-top and personal devices and personalised recommendations.
ATN International, controlling shareholder of One, worked with Mirada and One personnel on the deployment.
