United Airlines is expanding its flight service to the island of Bermuda.
The carrier will resume its daily flights from Newark to Bermuda six weeks earlier than last year, with the nonstop daily flights to begin April 29, 2019.
“For many business and leisure travelers in western New York City, New Jersey and beyond, United’s service from Newark is the difference between going to Bermuda and not going to Bermuda,” said Victoria Isley Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at the Bermuda Tourism Authority. “We are working with our stakeholders, meeting and event planners and potential travelers, making sure they know this option for spring travel to Bermuda is available earlier than has been the case recently.”
The news was announced at this week’s Bermuda Tourism Summit.
The Bermuda Tourism Authority said the flights were already bookable.
