Queen Of Bermuda finished an impressive second at the group two Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte in France at the weekend.
The two-year-old, owned by Bermuda Thoroughbred Racing and trained in Newmarket on the English east coast by the esteemed William Haggas, was beaten by 2½ lengths by Hello Youmzain in the six-furlong trip.
Queen Of Bermuda, by Exceed and Excel out of Imperialistic Diva, took her career earnings to $129,836.
Last month, the filly captured the greatest prize of her young career when she romped to victory at the prestigious Ayr Gold Cup meeting in Scotland before placing seventh in her next race at Newmarket this month.
