A four-man team out of Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound won the low gross division of the inaugural BERMUDA 3s World Team Championship pro-am presented by Goslings.
Cary Sciorra (pro), Tom Tracy, Tom Corr and John Coleman had a total gross score of 2-under 498 after the final round at Turtle Hill Golf Club in Southhampton, Bermuda to win by two strokes in the competition that featured PGA professionals from the U.S., Great Britain, Ireland, Bermuda and Estonia.
Simon Lilly of Northamptonshire, England won the individual title with a total gross of 5-under 245, 12 strokes ahead of second-place finisher Sciorra. Lilly fired a course-record 7-under 47 to maintain his lead in the final round last Thursday.
The event, which also included teams from Trump International and MacArthur golf clubs, is the creation of Joe Steranka, the former CEO of the PGA of America, and Honda Classic Executive Director Ken Kennerly.
"We could not have asked for a better start to this new world pro-am," Steranka said.
