Bermuda Finish 9th In Davis Cup Division III

Bermuda finished the Davis Cup Americas Division III in 9th place.

The Bermuda’s Men’s Davis Cup tennis team featured Gavin Manders, David Thomas, Jenson Bascome and Trey Mallory.

Bermuda finished with a record of 1 win and 11 defeats.

Bermuda’s first and only win came from Mallory playing in his first ever Davis Cup match.

National Tennis Director/Davis Cup coach Ricky Mallory said, “The decision made by the Association to rebuild the team and inject juniors into the team paid off with Mallory winning his match playing at #2 against Antigua & Barbuda’s Kevin Gardner; defeating him 7-6, 6-2.
