The Cincinnati Bengals overcame a horrendous start to take a 10-6 lead over the Las Vegas Raiders at halftime.
Cincy's first drive ended in disaster after Joe Burrow was strip-sacked by Yannick Ngakoue, but the Bengals' defense clamped down inside the red zone and held Vegas to a field goal. They then did the same on a later Raiders drive into Bengals territory. The Bengals' offensive line could barely hold up long enough to give Burrow time to throw the ball down the field, but Raiders penalties repeatedly gave Cincinnati the opportunity to get free first downs -- including two on the drive that gave Cincinnati its lead. The drive ended in a Joe Mixon touchdown run that was aided by a terrific block from backup receiver Stanley Morgan Jr.
