Bermuda welcomes back direct Air Canada service starting Aug. 6 - Travelweek

TORONTO — Bermuda is welcoming back direct flights with Air Canada on Fridays and Saturdays starting Aug. 6 from Toronto Pearson Airport.

Bermuda is less than a three-hour flight from Toronto. The island’s famed pink sand beaches and sophistication draw adventure seekers, explorers, romantics and more. Highlights include horseback riding on those pink sand beaches, diving amid shipwrecks and cycling through the island’s rugged natural beauty on the historical Railway Trail. “Discover 21 square miles of socially distanced fun and savour alfresco dining island-style,” say Bermuda’s tourism reps.

All visitors to Bermuda must apply for and complete a Bermuda COVID-19 Travel Authorisation one to three days prior to arriving in Bermuda in order to travel to the island.

All visitors must also have a negative pre-arrival test taken within four days of arrival in Bermuda.

Immunized visitors must also test upon arrival, day 4, day 8 and day 14 while in Bermuda.

Unimmunized travellers will quarantine for 14 days in a Government Approved Quarantine Hotel or apply for an exemption.

All of these policies apply to visitors ages two years old and older.

More details are at gov.bm/applying-bermuda-travel-authorisation.
