The Latest on Norwegian

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, which owns Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, and Regent Seven Seas Cruises, currently plans to begin a phased approach to resuming cruising in January 2021.

The company’s CEO Frank del Rio recently said during an earnings call that the line expects to have their entire fleet up and running by sometime in the second half of 2021.

Norwegian Cruise Line launched a new future cruise program last week called Cruise First. It’s similar to the line’s Cruise Next offer, which allowed passengers to buy a certificate for their next cruise while still on the ship during a current voyage and get onboard credit. But Cruise First can be purchased by would-be cruisers that don’t have to be on a ship to take advantage of it.
