Insight into the overall health of Bermudian businesses is to be revealed in a presentation by the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce.
The results of the Business Barometer Survey commissioned by the Chamber will be unveiled next Tuesday from 10am until 11.30am at HSBC Harbourview Centre on Front Street, Hamilton.
Attendance is free of charge, but requires preregistration due to limited space.
The Chamber said businesses were surveyed last August.
It said attendees at the presentation will also learn about changes that might help with progressing and moving forward in this post-pandemic world.
Kendaree Burgess, chief executive officer of the Chamber, said: “This exclusive opportunity is not to be missed, for it can provide invaluable resources that could equip attendees with the knowledge needed to stay ahead in these uncertain times.”
Louise Twiss West, HSBC Bermuda’s head of wholesale banking, added: “We are delighted that the business survey (which the bank has supported since 2014) is now back, after a three-year Covid-imposed hiatus.
“We consider the survey to be an important barometer for sentiment regarding the economic outlook within Bermuda’s business and in this regard, it serves a valuable purpose for so many in our community.
“We look forward to learning more about the survey’s findings and to ongoing discussions, as we collectively use these insights to support the ongoing development of the island’s economy.”
The event will feature opening remarks by Ms Twiss West, presentation of the survey results by Margaret Chapman of Narrative Research, a Q&A with Nathan Kowalski, president of the Chamber, and closing remarks by Ms Burgess.
