Giannis Antetokounmpo simply wasn't going to allow his Bucks to fall into a 3-0 hole against the Suns in the 2021 NBA Finals.
"The Greek Freak" led Milwaukee to a dominant 120-100 victory over Phoenix on Sunday night, posting 41 points, 13 rebounds and six assists in Game 3. Antetokounmpo became just the second player in NBA Finals history to total 40-plus points and 10-plus rebounds in consecutive games (Shaquille O'Neal, 2000). He also got much more help this time around, as Jrue Holiday (21 points, nine assists, five rebounds) and Khris Middleton (18 points, seven rebounds, six assists) bounced back after miserable showings in Game 2.
Suns star Chris Paul had 19 points and nine assists in the loss, but his backcourt mate Devin Booker struggled throughout Game 3, scoring just 10 points on 3-of-14 shooting. It was also a rough evening for Deandre Ayton, who only played 24 minutes because of foul trouble.
