Rebels score SAC win – Corydon Democrat - Corydon Democrat

Lucas Stewart scored 25 points and Maddox Baker added 16 as the South Central Rebels posted a 61-47 Southern Athletic Conference win at home Friday night over Crothersville.

The Rebels led 41-34 after three quarters then pulled away for the win with a 20-point fourth quarter.

Earlier last week, freshman Christian Kiper scored 17 and Stewart had 15 in a 61-47 loss to visiting Paoli. The Rams broke a close game open by outscoring the Rebels 21-8 in the final quarter.

South Central (1-8) suffered a 79-50 loss to visiting Holy Cross (Ky.) on Saturday night. Stewart led all scorers with 24.
