Get ready to set up your tee time. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker has announced golf courses are allowed to open Thursday.
There are strict guidelines and restrictions that come with the re-openings, such as prohibiting golf carts, bunker rakes and caddies. But that isn’t stopping places from opening.
Two golf courses in Central Massachusetts, the Wachusett Country Club and Kettle Brook Golf Course, had already said they planned to reopen even before the governor’s guidelines were released.
Golf courses across the state have begun announcing they are opening on social media. Below is a list of courses that have announced openings.
A few places have acknowledged the announcement on social media, saying official plans for reopening are coming.
