Bayern Munich has one hand around the coveted Meisterschale after going to second-place Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday and winning 1-0 thanks to Joshua Kimmich's audacious first-half chip. With Dortmund needing a win to really stay in the title race, it was the visitors who looked like the stronger side throughout, though the hosts will feel robbed of a potential draw thanks to a no-call on what appeared to be a clear handball in the box by Jerome Boateng in the second half. Bayern's lead atop the table is now seven points as the club inches closer to its eighth straight Bundesliga title.
Here are three takeaways from the game:
1. Burki really should have done better
Kimmich is a master of scoring outside of the box, and his lofted ball to the far post was brilliant and well executed, but let's not kid ourselves: In no way should goalkeeper Roman Burki be beaten by that ball. It wasn't high enough to leave him frozen, and he even got the majority of his hand on it. The timing was off and it leads to the loss.

Now, I don't think he was wearing gloves three sizes too big and the finger tips were filled with air, so there is really no excuse there. He didn't make the contact he wanted on the ball, and it costs them. I'd bet he makes that save 10 straight times in an identical situation.
2. Dortmund robbed of clear penalty
While Burki's blunder hurt Dortmund, so did the refs because the hosts should have had a penalty kick. In the second half, Haaland got free and fired a ball that was heading on frame, but it hit Jerome Boateng's arm and went right by the post. Boateng was on the ground, stuck his arm out, made contact and nothing was called.

It was a clear penalty and wasn't even looked at by the ref through VAR. A blown call.
3. Title race might be over
It feels as if this title race is all but over as Bayern holds a seven-point lead with six games remaining. Even if Bayern were to win three and lose three, Dortmund would have to win all of its remaining games to jump ahead. With Erling Haaland leaving Saturday's game with what looked like a groin injury, it's hard to see a way back from Dortmund unless they are perfect the rest of the way. The problem is, even if they win out, Bayern is probably still going to keep its pace and win the crown.
This may not have been the knockout blow, but Dortmund is on the ropes and woozy.
