A final score prediction post sounds a bit useless when you’re playing the winless New York Jets, but we can still have some fun with it despite knowing that the Rams have a 99.9% chance of coming out on top this Sunday.
Why don’t we just discuss HOW the Rams will take care of the Jets? Will it be a 45-0 shellacking in the same manner as the Patriots-Chargers game from two weeks ago? Will it be closer than we would maybe like to admit? Will the Rams come to play as the team we all know they can be on a weekly basis? These are all up for discussion.
My two cents: I think the Rams will come out and try to replicate what they did to the Patriots on the ground. I think Cam Akers will likely get a decent workload in this one and Jared Goff will be asked to do no more than manage the game and keep the ball from landing in the hands of opponent. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Darrell Henderson get some decent carries knowing full well the Rams will be up early.
I absolutely screwed myself in my fantasy playoffs by starting Keenan Allen over Robert Woods, but when Allen screamed “Don’t sit me” into the camera ahead of TNF, I thought I was in the clear to send him out there.
Don’t be me. Start Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp, and prosper.
Final score prediction: 34-6 Rams in an ol’ fashioned tail-whipping.
