The Mayakoba Golf Classic has returned to the El Camaleon Golf Course in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
The event launched in 2007 and became the first PGA Tour event outside the U.S. or Canada.
There are 132 golfers in the field, including defending champion Brendon Todd as well as Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas.
The Greg Norman-designed El Camaleon course ranks No. 20 on the Golfweek’s Best 2020: Top 50 courses in Caribbean, Mexico list.
The course winds through three different natural landscapes and has two greens within feet of the lapping waves from the ocean.
The tournament also has a spectacular closing ceremony.
