Recognizing the great need presented by the impact of COVID19, Allied World Bermuda has made a donation to three key local organizations. Colm Singleton, Head of Bermuda Office, announced today that it is donating $30,000 to support the Bermuda Hospitals Board, Meals on Wheels and the Eliza DoLittle Society.
“COVID-19 is placing great strains on our hospital and charities that provide food to those in need,” said Singleton. “As an integral member of the Bermuda community, we wanted to help bolster the resources of these organizations.”
Our donation to the Bermuda Hospitals Board recognizes the pressing need our community is experiencing due to the current health crisis, while the donations to Meals on Wheels and the Eliza DoLittle Society are in recognition of the struggle many Bermudians are experiencing related to food insecurity.
As a global organization, we are committed to supporting the communities where we do business and strive to build relationships with individuals and companies in those communities. To align with our core business, we support charities where we can create the most positive impact, and right now, that focus is primarily in the areas of health care and food insecurity.
