The New York Yankees will host the Boston Red Sox on Saturday night for the second of their three-game set. The Yankees won Friday night's series opener, and would seem to have the pitching advantage on paper.
The Yankees will see Masahiro Tanaka make his season debut, less than a month after he suffered a concussion during a scrimmage. Tanaka has been one of New York's better starters during his career, thanks in part to his patented slider and splitter. He'll be opposed by Zack Godley, who pitched well in relief for the Red Sox in his team debut. This will be the first time Godley has started with Boston.
